We are just back from the Himalayan White Water Challenge and excited to announce that our very own Nim B Magar is back up on the podium taking the event overall 1st place once again! That’s 12 national kayak championship titles for Nim over the past 20 years. Nim has announced he will step down from competing and focus on coaching, training and event coordination.
We are equally excited to share that our Paddle Nepal Raft Team once again took 1st place in both Sprint and Down River Race and is STILL undefeated! Congratulations Nim, Som, Mahadev, Dipesh, Prakash & Rajip. Your team work is inspiring to watch.
Our entire Paddle Nepal team represented us well in both kayaking and rafting categories:
– Nim B Magar = 1st overall / 1st boater cross / 2nd down river race
– Mahadev Katuwal = 2nd overall / 1st slalom
– Dipesh Gurung = 2nd slalom
– Som B Magar = 3rd down river race
